Students, if you need help with one of your science classes, you can sign up for a tutoring session provided by SNHS members. Tutoring is offered every Tuesday morning in Room 131 and during 7th period C and D lunches in the Library Lab. You can find more information on the SNHS website or flyers hung around the school.
DECA will be hosting a Movie Night for Middle School students on Friday, November 8. Tickets are $15 and will include entry, popcorn and 1 drink. Tickets will be sold starting October 29, from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. in the gym and during A and B lunch. You must have a signed permission form and $15 payment when purchasing the tickets. You may pick up a permission form outside Room 210. Deadline to purchase will be Wednesday, November 6.

Beads for Charity is having a sale tomorrow! They will be having Halloween themed bracelets, keychains and limited Halloween cookies that will be gifted with any 5-dollar purchase. Cookie flavors include snickerdoodle and other festive fall flavors. BFC will be donating all profits to Hurricane Milton disaster relief this sale so come out and support them!

Sophomores and Juniors, please remember if you are interested in applying to Governor's School, you must let your counselor know as soon as possible. The deadline to have all applications turned in is Nov. 15, but you must let your counselor know first and send a resume.
FOOTBALL IS BACK at CENTRAL! Girls' Flag Football is now a TSSAA sanctioned sport. If you are interested in participating, Coach Snow will conduct an informational meeting in room 205 on Wednesday, October 30 from 3:00-3:45 p.m.
The Ultimate Frisbee Team has started practicing every Tuesday and Friday after school in the Middle School Pick-up field. Make sure your sports physical is current so you can participate and then come by and join the fun.
Tryouts for the High School Track Team will take place Wednesday, November 20, from 4:30-5:30 at Siegel High. All students trying out must have Final Forms completed. Please visit the track website for more information and see Mr. Napper for any other questions.
The Central Tigers are cross country region champions! The high school cross country team competed at the region meet yesterday, and the girls' varsity team placed fourth while the guys' varsity team came in 1st place! Blake Nutter, Ty Brown, Henry Nance, Carson Phillips, Aaden Walker, Harrison Hamby, and Nate Dyer all received medals for their top finishes in the varsity race. Rachel Benefield, Ashtyn Patterson, and Georgia McCasland received medals for their excellent performances as well. The JV team dominated their race and came in first overall. Cheer the Tigers on as they head to the TSSAA State Championships next week!
