Seniors - If you already qualify or want to qualify for the Seal of Biliteracy or Seal of Bilingualism, the time has come to complete the mandatory paperwork. Ms. Dixon will hold a meeting at 3:15 in room #221 on Thursday, January 16th to walk you through filling out the forms.
Are you interested in being a peer tutor in Writing Lab next school year? We are now accepting applications for current sophomores and juniors who are interested in adding Writing Lab to their schedule next year. The lady Tigers lost a tough one last night to Franklin County. Madisen Stanley led the lady tigers in scoring with 15pts, Bethany Jackson added 11pts and Julia Stuible finished with 8pts. The lady tigers will be on the road tonight at Community.
The Central Magnet Tigers fell to 0-1 in district 12AAA play last night when they lost to Franklin County 65-57.The Tigers were led in scoring by Hollis Jackson with 11 points and Braylon Payne and Owen King with 8 points each.The Tigers will be back in action tonight when they travel to Unionville to take on the Community Vikings.
The JV high school boys basketball team picked up another win last night in OVERTIME versus the visitors from Franklin County. Final score, 52 to 46. The team was led by Owen King who had 11 points. Henry Long, Isaac Messick, and Nathan Deinard all were in double figures with ten points each. Defensively, the Tigers were led by Brady Moore, who took two charges, and Tate Morris who took one. The team improves to 5-4 and looks to pick up another victory tonight on the road versus Community.
Homecoming is next week! High School will play volleyball on Homecoming Day Friday, January 24th. You can download permission slips from the Student Council website or get physical copies from the following class officers: Rylee Pelham (12th), Wylene Co or Abdullah Abu-Halimah (11th), Liam Arcos (10th), Aubrey Lee (9th) or outside of Ms. Dixon's room (222).
