National Honor Society applications have been emailed to qualifying juniors and seniors. Be sure to submit this application before the deadline next week. Please see Mr. Windham in room 105 with any questions.
Seniors- if you have not ordered your cap, gown and diploma cover for graduation you need to do this by February 10th.

DECA members are presenting a Community Giving Project for the DECA.  Their chosen organization to sponsor is Kymari House. Kymari House provides court-ordered supervised visitation with parents and children. The goal of this project is to hold a toy/supply drive. Currently accepting gently used toys, art/school supplies, and books. Bring donations to Room 210 by January 24.
Students in Macro or Gov't this semester need to pay for the test if they want to take the exam in May.  It is $99, payment can be in the attendance office or online.
Attention All Students:    We will have Reading Rooms available during Friday’s Homecoming activities for students who prefer to spend their day in a quieter atmosphere, away from the noise and crowds. You may sign up for a Reading Room in Flex starting THURSDAY. Keep in mind that with the exception of going to the restroom, students who sign up for a Reading Room are to remain there until the next activity. See Ms. Dixon if you have any questions.

'CmagLedTutors' is an organization that recruits Central Magnet high school students to teach middle school students all around Rutherford County as a way of getting their volunteer hours and also getting the chance to expand their leadership skills. So far, we have 30+ students and 15+ tutors on our team. With more middle school students showing interest, we are looking for more Central Magnet high school students to join our organization. Please look for flyers around the school for more information!
There will be a preseason meeting for the high school tennis team on Tuesday, January 28, at 6:00 pm in the senior cafeteria. Please see Coach Angel in room 206 if you have any questions.
Anyone interested in playing boys' soccer grades 6th-8th, please visit Coach Davies in room 242 during your study hall today and tomorrow to sign up.  Tryouts are set for January 29th and 30th at 3:45pm on the middle school practice field, weather permitting.  Final Forms information is on the website, and must be complete (including physical) before try-outs. Please follow the boys' soccer website for updated information.

During the long weekend, the high school swim team participated in the annual Doris Coady County Championship held at Oakland High School. The combined team finished in 3rd place, while the women's team secured the runner-up position. A total of 9 swimmers qualified for the finals, including Cameron Conley, Elijah Messick, Drew Dickens, Dauhyun Cho, Sara Grace Terrell, Peyton Walker, Taylor Kline, and Fiona McGoffin. Notably, Cameron Conley set a school record in the 200 Free event.
 This weekend, both high school and middle school regional teams will compete in the regional swim meet in Nashville. Congratulations to all who qualified.
