Any High Schooler that would like to take an exam to qualify for the Seal of Biliteracy should see Ms. Dixon THIS WEEK to register/pay for the assessment. The test date is Friday, Feb. 21st.
If you enjoy Creative Writing: poetry, stories, and more, then join the Creative Writing Club in writing to our fun prompts available on our club website. Better yet, when you see your guidance counselor for class signups for next school year, let them know you want to take Creative Writing as a class!

The boys JV basketball team fell short in their season finale last night at Lawrence County High School, despite a valiant effort. The final score was 51-43. The Tigers end the season with a 9-10 record. Owen King scored 16 points on the night, Kai Jones had 8, Henry Long and Nathan Deinard had 6, Braylon Payne had 3, and Ben Buckley and Yaw Gyamfi had 2. It was a great team effort. If you see any of the guys congratulate them on a great season.
The lady tigers lost a hard fought district game last night at Lawrence Co. 57-49. The lady tigers were led in scoring by Bethany Jackson 15 pts off (5) 3 pointers, Julia Stuible added 14pts, Lia Reyes chipped 12pts off (4) 3 pointers, Reagan Turnbow added 4pts and Madisen Stanley and Landry Lapointe both finished with 2 points. The lady tigers will play at home this Monday night in the 1st round of the district tournament. We appreciate the support this season and really need you guys to get out and support the team this Monday night at 7pm.
The Central Magnet Men's Basketball team traveled to Lawrence County last night to play in their last regular season game of the 2024-2025 school year. The Tigers fought hard but came up short losing 80-53.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Hollis Jackson with 13 points, Owen King 8 points, and Tate Morris added 6 points.
The Tigers will travel to Giles County on Tuesday night when they play in the 1st round of the district tournament.
