High school Science Olympiad competed in the regional tournament on Saturday at MTSU earning 2nd place and a bid to the state championship at UTK in April. Both teams performed well against tough competition and improved from last year's result.

Congratulations to our CMS Archers that participated in the tournament this past weekend. The HS Team placed 2nd in the Bullseye Tournament and 4th in the 3D Tournament, while the MS Team placed 4th in the Bullseye Tournament. Individually in the Bullseye tournament, Luciana Spivey-Palacios place 1st in the MS Female Division and Jesse Blunkall placed 2nd in the HS Female Division. In the 3D Tournament, Rachel Benefield placed 2nd in the HS Female Division and Jackson Harris placed 1st in the HS Male Division.
The Lady Tigers picked up a huge district tournament win last night over Marshall Co. 42-27. The lady tigers will now play in the semi-finals vs Franklin Co. The lady tigers were led in scoring by Bethany Jackson with 17pts, Madisen Stanley added 10 pts, Julia Stuible, Landry LaPointe and Reagan Turnbow each had 4 pts and Lia Reyes finished with 3pts.
Please come out and support the lady tigers this Friday night at home at 7pm.
