Mr. Freeman's Art 2 class would like to invite you to our Art Show at the Todd Building on MTSU's campus, this Saturday, February 28, from 12 - 2. This event is free for everyone. Stop by for AMAZING art and refreshments.
Our Central Magnet School choir department performed incredibly at the MTVA Choral Performance Assessment. Choirs had to memorize three songs and perform them for judges. After, choirs had to sight-read for a score (read and perform a piece of music they had never seen before.)
All Choirs received Superior trophies, which is the highest rating possible.
Both Middle School and Show Choir also received perfect ratings.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CMS HISTORY, both high school choirs are going to the ACDA State Choral Festival, the highest choral festival possible for High School Students.
A huge congrats to our choral program!

CONGRATULATIONS to Elvin Chen on being the first student at Central Magnet to get a PERFECT SCORE on a Microsoft Office Specialist exam! He scored a perfect ONE THOUSAND on the PowerPoint 2019 Test. Way to go, Elvin! Mrs. Stanley is proud of you!

After reviewing all of the submissions for teacher/staff member of the month for February, the students of the TEACH club would like to recognize Mrs. Ellaina Taylor!!
The following was said about Mrs. Taylor: 1) I think she should be recognized because she has been here for quite some time and has actually helped me to understand math. She always explains it fully to where everyone understands it.   2) She is always so happy about teaching us and really helps us understand the topic. She never makes us feel bad in her classroom and it is always a safe place to learn. 3) Ms. Taylor should be recognized because she works hard to teach us not just math, but also important life skills. She is kind and understanding and makes sure everyone feels included!
Thank you to Ms. Taylor and Congratulations!
AP Macro and AP Gov exam orders for this semester are due by March 3.  Either pay online or in the Attendance office.
