Rising Juniors and Seniors -- Don't forget that this Friday at 3 PM is the deadline to apply for National English Honor Society for next year. The application is completely digital, but it will close at 3 PM. You can get to the application through the NEHS website on the Central website or by scanning the QR code in your English classes. Please see Mrs. Eubanks with any questions. Late applications will not be accepted.
The qualifiers for the MTSU middle school math contest are posted on Mrs. Phillips's website. The qualifiers must get a permission form from Mrs. Phillips ASAP!

The juniors will be able to leave campus following the ACT on March 18th with parent permission. The English teachers will hand out these permission forms. They will also be available in the attendance office. Please turn in these forms by March 17th. We will not be able to accept phone calls and texts the day of the test.
The Musical Theatre Club is hosting its annual Musical Theatre Showcase this Friday at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Admission is free, so please come support our Central Magnet Theatre Department
HS Cheer will have a mandatory parent meeting on March 24th at 6 pm in the senior cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out for HS Cheer. 1 parent and the student-athlete must attend the meeting. Tryout packets are available in Coach Griggs's room (335 in the annex).
The Central Varsity Middle School Boys soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with LaVergne. Lucas Ye scored the goal for the Tigers. The JV boys also tied in a scoreless draw with LaVergne JV.
The High School Swim Team earned 3 NISCA Academic All-Americans. Seniors Cameron Conley, Elijah Messick, and Fiona McGoffin all earned Varsity letters senior year, as well a GPA of 3.75+ over 7 semesters of classes.
The team GPA for the 24-25 season is 3.852 ranking them as a NISCA Gold Scholar team.

After sweeping their first 2 district matches last week, tiger tennis faced strong competition yesterday from the Greenwood Kentucky high school team. The girls team suffered a tough defeat, while the boys pulled off a 6 to 3 win. Their next match versus Rockvale is tomorrow.
The Varsity Tigers moved to 3 and 0 on the season with a 13 to 1 victory over Rocky Fork middle school.
Tigers were lead by Charlie Newburry with 3 hits on the night, Jackson Patterson, Caden Odom and Miles Pinson chipped in 2 hits apiece. Brady Yates, Lawson Carlisle, Griffey Morris, and Miles Pinson handled the mound duties.
The Tigers JV team scored a walk off victory beating Rock Fork 3 to 2, scoring the winning run with 2 out in the last inning on a single by Kyle McCasland scoring Bishop Roberts for the win.
Bishop Roberts, Camden Campbell, Porter Kelley, Lok Martin handled the mound for the night.
