Ladies in 7th through 12th grade, are you interested in gaining hands-on experience, working with tools and equipment and learning about what goes into concrete and how to test it in the lab? Then MTSU's School of Concrete and Construction’s Ladies in Concrete Workshop on May 13th is for you. You will also get to meet industry women that have helped build the community you live in here in Middle TN and across the nation. After-Prom tickets are on sale in the cafeteria Wednesday and Friday this week during C&D lunches. Tickets are $25. Register ahead of time using the link on the Prom Information page of the Central website, then stop by the ticket table Wednesday or Friday to pick up your ticket. After-Prom is open to all CMS Juniors and Seniors and their approved guests. Get your ticket this week to avoid long lines!

The Olympics are coming to Central. Connect 4, Chess, Spikeball, Limbo, Cornhole, Relay Races - these are just a few events high schoolers will play during Spirit Day. Stop by Ms. Dixon's room to pick up a permission form and to sign up for an Olympic event on the SignUp Genius. Links will also be posted on Central's webpage later this week.
Football is back! Wednesday March 19th is the first ever TSSAA varsity girls flag football game in Rutherford County History! There will be 2 games played at 6 pm vs. Smyrna and 8 pm vs Rockvale.
Both games will be played at Rockvale High School. Come support the newest TSSAA sport and our Tigers football team.
HS Cheer will have a mandatory parent meeting on March 24th at 6 pm in the senior cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out for HS Cheer. 1 parent and the student-athlete must attend the meeting. Tryout packets are available in Coach Griggs's room (335 in the annex).
The Central Middle School Varsity Boys Soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Siegel Middle School with First Half goals by Lucas Ye and Tobi Abebe. The JV Tigers tied Siegel JV 1-1 with Ugo Eze scoring the equalizer for Central.
The high school softball team dropped a 15-3 decision to Blackman on Monday night. The lady tigers got on the board early in the 1st inning behind hits by Megan Weber, Sophia Croasdaile, and Taylor Nickerson. The game remained close into the 4th, but a big inning by Blackman was sparked by Tiger errors. Central will return to action Thursday evening with a trip to Franklin County.
