Students who plan to get their Drivers Permit during Spring break must come to the Attendance office before the break to get their signed copy of the SF1010 form.
High School will participate in the Central Magnet Olympics on Spring Spirit Day!!  Connect 4, Chess, Spikeball, Limbo, Cornhole, Relay Races – there is something for everyone. Stop by Ms. Dixon's room to pick up a permission form and sign up for an Olympic event using SignUp Genius. Links are also posted on the Student Council webpage.
HS Cheer will have a mandatory parent meeting on March 24th at 6 pm in the senior cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out for HS Cheer.  1 parent and the student-athlete must attend the meeting.  Tryout packets are available in Coach Griggs's room (335 in the annex).
The Central Middle School Varsity Boys Soccer team battled to a 1-0 victory over Oakland Middle. Luke Jones scored the goal for the Tigers. The JV team defeated Oakland JV 2-1. Cing Suan and Lucas Kime scored goals for the Tigers.
Tiger tennis play two matches this week, with boys and girls both remaining undefeated in the district after their wins over Smyrna on Monday. They traveled to Ensworth yesterday. The girls played well but fell to tough challengers, and the boys are 6 and 0 on the season after winning 6-3 in competitive matches. They take on South Warren from Kentucky this Saturday at home.
The high school softball team fell to Franklin County 7-11 on Thursday night. Juliet Dasch was 2/3 on the evening with 2 triples. Taylor Nickerson collected 3 hits and drove in 3 runs. Charly Thompson reached base safely 4 out of 4 plate appearances and had another strong showing behind the plate. Hayley Mangrum flashed the leather in the field, with 2 huge rally ending plays.
The lady tigers return to action tomorrow night at home as they host Shelbyville at 5:30.
