Your story matters! Join Creative Writing Class next year and explore through a variety of exercises, peer feedback, and discussion, methods to express who you are. Our Middle School concert ""Elemental"" on April 15th features music about the elements that rule our world. We will also have a silent auction before the concert.
Our High School Concert ""Liminal Space"" on April 17th features music about change, growth, and transition. Both concerts at 7pm and entry is free!

HS Cheer will have a mandatory parent meeting TONIGHT, March 24th at 6 pm in the senior cafeteria for anyone interested in trying out for HS Cheer.  1 parent and the student-athlete must attend the meeting.  Tryout packets are available in Coach Griggs's room (335 in the annex).
The high school men's soccer team traveled to Gatlinburg this past weekend and finished 2nd in their division behind the #1 team out of South Carolina's 5A classification.  The team beat Cocke Co. 4-2 Friday night.  Jacob Garder scored all 4 goals in the match. Saturday night the boys beat Scottsboro out of Alabama 2-0.   Jude McCollum opened the scoring, while Evan Lee scored and had an assist. In the Final match on Sunday the boys fell 1-0 to Wren High School.  Birthday boy, Isaiah Phillips, had 7 saves in the match.
The track team competed on Saturday in the March Madness meet in Ravenwood. Aaden Walker and Jason Dyer PR'd in the 1600 and placed first in their individual heats. Luca Guevart placed 2nd in the 1600 in his heat. Nate Dyer PR'd in the 3200 placing 6th overall out of 36 runners. Georgia McCasland Pr'd in the 1600 and Cadence Upham and Kayla Markwei finished 7th and 8th out of 31 throwers in the Discus. The track team will compete this Friday at Siegel.
The Central Tiger baseball team knocked off Spring Hill on Saturday by a score of 12-6. They were led in hitting by Jensen Spry who was 3 for 3 with 2 runs and 2 rbi. Thomas Sesler had 2 hits and 3 rbi. Jon Mical Courtney was the winning pitcher going 5 strong innings. Carter Shelton threw a couple of scoreless innings to close out the win. The Tigers will open District play today against Marshal County at 6:00 at Lascassas Elementary. There will be food trucks and special anthem singer. Students and faculty get in free.
The high school softball team picked up a 12-2 win over Shelbyville Central on Friday Night. Seniors Taylor Nickerson, Megan Weber, and Charly Thompson combined for 7 hits and 5 RBI. Freshman pitcher Charlee Denney picked up her first career win- going the distance and allowing only 1 earned run on 2 hits. The lady tigers return to action Tuesday night at home against Tullahoma.
