We would like to share the news about 6th grader Sanhita Sarma's participation in the Middle TN Science & Engineering Fair (MTSEF) on March 21st, held at Belmont University. Her project title was "Construction of a simple device to demonstrate the role of angle and mass in a projectile". She got 1st place in the 6th grade category. In addition, she got the United States Air Force Award that recognizes an outstanding Science or Engineering project. Further, she got the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Challenge Awards to receive a nomination to compete at Broadcom MASTERS later this year.
Students, please clean everything off the outside of your lockers before Spring Break! Maintenance will be touching up the paint and anything left may get thrown away.
Students planning to get their Driver's permit during Spring break must get their signed SF1010 form in the Attendance office before the end of the day Thursday.

Attention All Students: We will have Reading Rooms available during Friday’s Spirit Day activities for students who prefer to spend their day in a quieter atmosphere, away from the noise and crowds. To be in a Reading Room, just sign up in Flex starting Thursday. If you need help securing a pass, see Ms. Dixon. Keep in mind that with the exception of going to the restroom, students who sign up for a Reading Room are to remain there until the next activity.
The Central Tiger baseball team dropped their district opener to Marshall County by a score of 10-7. Michell Coons was 4 for 4 and Joseph Rowell scored 3 runs but the Tigers couldn’t overcome 8 unearned runs. Braylon Dowell was good on the mound going 4 innings and giving up one earned run. Tate Morris pitched the final 3 inning striking out 4. The Tigers are back in action today when they travel to Marshall County.
