High school students! Do you enjoy singing pop songs or show tunes? Do you love to dance and sing? Come and audition for the Central Magnet Show Choir!! This exclusive ensemble performs pop, rock, jazz, and musical theatre along with choral music. Auditions are Thursday, May 1st from 3:00 - 6:00 in the choir room (339 in annex). Come prepared to sing 1 minute of a musical theater or pop song with a karaoke track and come dressed to dance!
 
AP exams are coming soon! Remember, you can come in late/ leave early on the day of your AP exam with parent permission. Your AP teachers should be handing out these forms. They are also available in the attendance office. The forms are due in attendance by May 1st.

SNHS Applications for next school year are now open! Membership applications and officer applications can be found on flyers around the school or on the Central SNHS website. All applications are due Wednesday, April 30th!
 
It is time for elections for the 2025 - 2026 HS Student Council! 
The election timeline and guidelines can be found on the HS Student Council webpage.  They were also emailed out to your school email.
If you are interested in running for student council you must attend a mandatory meeting during your 7th period study hall on Tuesday, April 29th in Ms. Dixon's room (221).  If you will be absent from school that day, please contact Ms. Dixon before 7th period that day and let them know that you are absent and would like to run.  (If you are on the DECA trip, you can email Ms. Dixon.)  Deadlines will be strictly adhered to.  Please let us know if you have any questions. 
 
How do six nights in London sound? What about excursions to Oxford, Stratford, Bath, and Stonehenge? An informational Zoom meeting will be held May 6 at 6:00 p.m. Email Coach Snow for the invitation if you are interested in joining us during Spring Break 2026. The Tiger baseball team took on old District 8AA rival Dekalb County on Friday at Siegel. The Central Tigers scored 8 runs in the first and never looked back in route to a 14-2 win. Joseph Rowell was the leading hitter going 3 for 3. For the 3rd straight game, the Tigers blasted a ball over the wall. This time it was Tate Morris with a deep bomb over the left field wall. John Roth had 3 RBIs and Elijah Bonner and Benson Reavis both drove in two runs. Jon Mical Courtney pitched a complete game to pick up the win. The Tigers have now won 19 games on the season. The Tigers will end the regular season today on the road against 2024 State Tournament Qualifier White House at 6:30.
 
The high school softball team will celebrate their 2025 graduating seniors tonight at Tiger Park at Buchanan. The ceremony celebrating Elle Cumming, Taylor Nickerson, Charly Thompson, and Megan Weber will begin at 5:00 followed by a varsity and jv game versus district foe Lawrence County. Come out and support this outstanding group of young ladies.
 
Juniors, please turn in Holiday World permission forms and money to Dr. Guthrie in the attendance office- don't forget you will need a notarized form due by MAY 14!
The TN TECH field trip form and Money goes to Mrs. Huffman.
 The MTSU library permission forms go to your English teacher.
