Mu Alpha Theta and NHS is hosting a special guest speaker tomorrow after school: Po-Shen Loh is a professor at Carnegie Mellon and has articles in the Wall Street Journal and NY Times and will be speaking about AI and using theater in the classroom! Please join us in the senior cafeteria on Wednesday from 3:15-4:00, and make sure you can be picked up right afterwards.

High school students! Do you enjoy singing pop songs or show tunes? Do you love to dance and sing? Come and audition for the Central Magnet Show Choir!! This exclusive ensemble performs pop, rock, jazz, and musical theatre along with choral music. Auditions are this Thursday, May 1st from 3:00 - 6:00 in the choir room (339 in annex). Come prepared to sing 1 minute of a musical theater or pop song with a karaoke track and come dressed to dance!
AP exams are coming soon! Remember, you can come in late/ leave early on the day of your AP exam with parent permission. Your AP teachers should be handing out these forms. They are also available in the attendance office. The forms are due in attendance by May 1st.
Congratulations to 6th grader Jacob Rivera who placed 3rd overall Friday night at the Read to Succeed's 21st Annual Read to Bee 6th grade spelling bee.
It is time for elections for the 2025 - 2026 HS Student Council! 
The election timeline and guidelines can be found on the HS Student Council webpage.  They were also emailed out to your school email.
If you are interested in running for student council you must attend a mandatory meeting during your 7th period study hall TODAY in Ms. Dixon's room (221).
Deadlines will be strictly adhered to.  Please let us know if you have any questions.

SNHS Applications for next school year are now open! Membership applications and officer applications can be found on flyers around the school or on the Central SNHS website. All applications are due Wednesday, April 30th!
Kelley Facine is doing a drive for foster children to work towards her Girl Scout Silver Award. The donation bin is in the front office. She will be collecting donations until May 9th. There are flyers on bulletin boards around the school with the list of the items needed! Please help us help others!
How do six nights in London sound? What about excursions to Oxford, Stratford, Bath, and Stonehenge? An informational Zoom meeting will be held May 6 at 6:00 p.m. Email Coach Snow for the invitation if you are interested in joining us during Spring Break 2026. Girls HS basketball tryouts will be May 19th from 3:30-5:30

Juniors, please turn in Holiday World permission forms and money to Dr. Guthrie in the attendance office- don't forget you will need a notarized form due by MAY 14!
The TN TECH field trip form and Money goes to Mrs. Huffman.
 The MTSU library permission forms go to your English teacher.
