Yearbook Distribution Day is finally here! Yearbooks will be delivered to your classrooms this morning on the following schedule:
1st Period: Seniors and Juniors
2nd Period: Sophomores and Freshmen
3rd Period: All Middle School Students
Please remember that if you receive a damaged yearbook or do not receive your yearbook at all, you should report to the auditorium immediately. For any other questions or issues, see Ms. Quinn in her classroom at the beginning of 8th period.
The yearbook signing will take place after lunch, and we will have food trucks available for everyone. However, please remember that only high schoolers may visit the high school trucks and only middle schoolers may visit the middle school trucks.

Finally, the 2025 yearbooks are officially SOLD OUT, so unless you are a senior or you are already on the waitlist, there will not be any yearbooks available for purchase today.
High school students! Do you enjoy singing pop songs or show tunes? Do you love to dance and sing? Come and audition for the Central Magnet Show Choir!! This exclusive ensemble performs pop, rock, jazz, and musical theatre along with choral music. Auditions are TODAY from 3:00 - 6:00 in the choir room (339 in annex). Come prepared to sing 1 minute of a musical theater or pop song with a karaoke track and come dressed to dance!
AP exams are coming soon! Remember, you can come in late/ leave early on the day of your AP exam with parent permission. Your AP teachers should be handing out these forms. They are also available in the attendance office. The forms are due in attendance by TODAY, May 1st.
Please join us for the CMS Tony Awards! The Theatre banquet is next Friday, May 9th at 6 pm and dress is Red Carpet Chic. We will enjoy an Italian dinner in the cafeteria followed by awards and live performances in the auditorium. If you've been involved in any way this year with theatre - cast, crew, or class - you're invited! Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased through SchoolCash or from Ms. Scott.
Kelley Facine is doing a drive for foster children to work towards her Girl Scout Silver Award. The donation bin is in the front office. She will be collecting donations until May 9th. There are flyers on bulletin boards around the school with the list of the items needed! Please help us help others!

Tiger tennis played team district finals last night versus Siegel. The girls dug in hard but came up short against a competitive opponent, becoming district runners up. The boys are district champions after winning 4-1. They move on to regionals next week. The individual district tournament begins today. Go Tigers!
The Central Magnet middle school track team advanced 8 athletes to the sectional meet at Riverdale High on Wednesday. All performed well and we have 4 athletes that have qualified for the TMSAA state meet next month. Please congratulate: Adelyn King in the 1600m, Linley LaPointe in the 100m hurdles, Elizabeth Hamilton in the 800m, and Hank Edge in the 110m hurdles. Great job Tigers!
