High School Students: The PSAT test will be October 21. Registration to take the PSAT has begun. The cost to take the test is $18. You can register in attendance or sign up online. The link is on the main webpage. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Huffman. This is for students in 9th-11th grade. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS SEPTEMBER 3.
Parking passes are for sale in attendance!! They are $5. Please be ready with make and model of your car and your license plate!
If you received an academic award last spring and did not get it at Awards Night, please go by the front office to pick it up.
Any high school student interested in earning the Seal of Biliteracy is invited to come to an informational meeting with Ms. Dixon in room #221 on Monday, Sept. 8th at 3:15. Seniors are especially encouraged to attend.
Are you interested in ocean or environmental conservation? Come to the Ocean and Lake Conservation Club during F Club rotation! You'll learn all about marine life and discover ways to volunteer for environmental causes in our community.
Are you a girl interested in STEM, public speaking, and community outreach? Join Potentia 360@CMS! We are partnered with local non-profit Potentia 360 and we are dedicated to empowering female students interested in pursuing a career in STEM fields. We will be hosting speakers to inform members of possible career paths, as well as participating in community service projects. First meeting after school on September 4th from 3:15 to 4:30 in room 347! Bring your friends!

Middle School tennis had their first match last week against Blackman. Both boys and girls teams came away 4 to 1 winners. They play Oakland today at 530pm. Congratulations on a great start to the season.

The middle school cross-country team competed last Saturday at the Bison Long-Hunter Classic in Gallatin. In a field of 20 teams, the boys placed second, with Miles and Joe Pinson leading the way. The girls finished sixth in a field of 18. Top finishers for the girls were Adelyn King and Rupal Bajlory. In the junior varsity boys' race, Bentley Bergsten and Jeremiah Bonner lead the boys to a runner-up finish in a race of ten teams.
The runners travel to the Hermitage this Thursday to compete in the Midstate Cross-Country Championships.
