Are you a girl interested in STEM, public speaking, and community outreach? Join Potentia 360@CMS! We are partnered with local non-profit Potentia 360 and we are dedicated to empowering female students interested in pursuing a career in STEM fields. We will be hosting speakers to inform members of possible career paths, as well as participating in community service projects. DECA will open the Coffee Shop starting Monday, September 8, in the concessions area. Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will serve iced/hot coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. We accept cash and debit/credit cards.

The September National ACT will be held at Central this Saturday, Sept. 6. Doors will open at 7:30 in College Corner and we will start right at 8:00. A legal photo ID IS REQUIRED (or photo ID form), and we will have to turn you away without it, so please make sure you have your ID. Please also bring your admission ticket, a calculator, and pencils. See your counselor if you have questions.
HS cheer will sell smoothies during lunch this Friday for $6.50.
CMS Archery will have the beginning of the year parent meeting on September 23rd at 5:30pm in the cafeteria. This meeting is for parents of current team members and those interested in joining the team. Students, please make sure your parents attend this important meeting.
The MS Girls Soccer team won 9-0 in last night's match against Rock Springs. The game ended at half time due to the goal differential. Goals were added by Ella Agee, Marley Pinson, Abigial Woods, Veronika Duchachek, Karmen Intintoli, and Sanhita Sarma. Olivia Sullivan had the shut out in goal. The girls return to action at Oakland on Monday night!
