Daily Announcement

Attention Students: if you had a Writing Lab appointment scheduled for Tuesday, 9/16, those appointments will meet during 7th period on Wednesday, 9/17 due to the modified schedule this week. Please check your email for more details and let Mrs. Eubanks know of any questions or concerns.
High school students, today you will be getting your school issued laptop from the library. Please come to the library during your assigned time. Teachers have the schedule. If you have a school issued model thirty-one twenty laptop, do not come to the library to swap it out unless you have both the laptop and charger. The model number can be found on the back side of your laptop under the word Latitude. Students with the model thirty-one forty do not need to come to the library to swap laptops.
Orthodox Christian School Ministries (OCSM) is an Orthodox club open for all students. OCSM is doing a clothing drive to donate for charity, and we would really appreciate any contributions. There will be donation bins placed all around the school, specifically in the office, in college corner, outside the library, and outside of Ms. Quinn, Ms. Crawley, and Ms. Overcasts rooms. Donations can begin being collected today, any donation is welcome, and we would love to see a good turnout. Thank you so much!
Are you a high schooler interested in graphic design? Join Design Club during D rotation and get the chance to bring your creativity to life! Through posters, t-shirts, flyers, or other projects for Central Magnet’s clubs, sports, and events, your work could be displayed around the school for everyone to see. This is an opportunity to collaborate with a community of student artists, build your design skills and portfolio, and see your designs make a real impact at Central. Whether you’re a beginner curious about design or someone who is already experienced, come join Design Club today.
If you plan to be a member of French Club, please be sure to sign up for the club in Teams for information about our first after school meeting and pig out. Those interested in being officers, please come see Ms. Angel during RTI Friday. Merci.

The Lady Tiger golf team defeated Macon Co. behind Lauren Powell's new personal best 4-under 68 and Anna Powell's 73. For the non-golfers out there, that is what you want to shoot when you're trying to win a state championship. The road to that championship continues tomorrow at Cedar Crest at the district tournament.
Freshman Justin Grissom also shot a personal best 82 on Tuesday. The Tiger golf team will also compete in the district tournament for a spot at the Region. And their coach thinks they have a great chance to advance.
