The seniors will be taking the ACT at school on October 14th.  They are allowed to leave school after testing with parent permission. The senior English teachers will be passing out the permission forms. They will also be available in the attendance office. These are due by October 3rd. Please turn them in before fall break! Also, remember it is ONLY SENIORS who are excused to leave on this day.
Juniors will meet in the auditorium for Advisory this week. Students will sit with their Advisory classes.
Are you interested in learning more about Girl Scouts? There will be an informational meeting in the cafeteria TONIGHT from 6-7 pm. Girls will complete a hands-on activity and there will be staff members available to answer questions and help you complete membership registration.
FALL SPIRIT DAY IS COMING UP! Student Council invites you to participate in a 3- Legged Potato Sack race during the pep rally! There are permission slips required to play BUT there is only room for 2 participants for each grade, so it is first come first serve! Permission slips can be found in front of Dr. Hines office and are due back to her by WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 1ST!!!! 
Attention HS Beta Members attending convention! The deadline to turn in your money and permission forms is quickly approaching! Please bring your money and your permission slips to Mrs. SK (room 116) any time between now and Oct 1st. Permission forms can be found on the HS Beta website.
Attention high schoolers: Young Life club meets tonight at 7:57 PM at the Young Life house (1515 Greenland Drive). The theme is "jersey night." We hope to see you there!
Seniors! The Dollywood trip is scheduled for October 17th. You will receive permission slips in your English classes.
College Corner will host Sewanee (the University of the South) on Tuesday, Sept. 30 during C or D lunch. Stop by to learn more and have all your questions answered!
Attention, juniors! As part of our fundraising for prom, we need you all to donate a 12-pack of canned sodas or bottled water for Pig Out! Please bring all donations to Mrs. Nau's classroom. We must collect these before October 3rd. Thank you for your help! 
We will have Reading Rooms available during Friday’s Spirit Day activities for students who prefer to spend their day in a quieter atmosphere, away from the noise and crowds.  To be in a Reading Room, sign up in advance in Flex starting Thursday. Keep in mind that with the exception of going to the restroom, students who sign up for a Reading Room are to remain there until the next activity.
High Schoolers: Wednesday is the DEADLINE to sign up for Spirit Day Spikeball. Sign Up on the Student Council webpage and turn in your completed permission form to Ms. Dixon.
Would you believe that our middle school boys and girls are BOTH the Sectional CHAMPIONS? That's right! The teams traveled to Chattanooga on Saturday morning and clinched their spots to participate in the TMSAA State Meet on Saturday, October 4. The top varsity finishers for the day included: Miles Pinson, Joe Pinson, Adelyn King, and Rupal Bajlory, and in the JV race: Baird Lane, Jackson Oring, and Sydney Jennings.
