DECA will be hosting a Middle School Fall Dance on Friday, October 24, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Admission is $10 and tickets will be sold at the door. Concessions will be sold as well. Come ready to dance and celebrate with your friends!

Archery Team members and prospective members: please make sure you are complete in your Final Forms and have completed all the forms so that you can participate in practices starting in the next week. As a reminder, all forms and information can be found on the Archery Website under the Athletics tab on the main CMS school page. Please see or email Coach Rundberg in room 126 with any questions.
New Archers: Mandatory Practices will be held next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday right after school until 5:30pm. You MUST be present all three days so please be sure you have transportation and are ready to practice on those days.
The Central Magnet high school cross country team competed in the Jesse Owens Classic on October 4th. All athletes ran very well, and we are exceptionally proud of them! Our top three finishers in the boys' Gold race were Aaden Walker, who ran a 16:31, Blake Nutter, who ran a 16:32, and Harrison Hamby, who ran a 16:35. Our top three finishers in the girls' Silver race were Rachel Benefield, who placed 23rd overall and ran a 20:11, Catherine Zubkus, who ran a 20:43, and Georgia McCasland, who ran a 21:40. In the boys' Red race, Jacob Johnson ran an 18:50, Xander Griffen ran an 18:53, and Brady Barrett ran a 19:12. Please wish all our runners good luck as they look forward to competing in the Dickson MSCCA qualifying race this weekend!
The high school volleyball team captured their third consecutive district tournament title during fall break. The Lady Tigers faced two match points against Spring hill in the semifinal match but were able to hold and advance to the championship game against Forrest. The championship match proved to be memorable as the Tigers took the title in four sets. The win also secured the third consecutive undefeated season in district play, as the Tigers finished 17-0 this season. Emery Bland was named tournament MVP, Maddie Porter Julia Stuible and Elizabeth Hamilton earned all-tournament awards.
The Lady Tigers will travel to Upperman on Tuesday to compete in the Regional Tournament against Stone Memorial at 6:00.
