The high school boys basketball teams kicked off their season last night on the road at Eagleville. There were moments of excitement during the game, but the Tigers ultimately fell short. Carter Sage led all varsity scorers with 13 points on the night, including 3 3-pointers. Greyson Jones led the JV Tigers with 6 points in the opening game of the night. Be sure to join us on Friday as we face off against Grundy County for the first home game of the season. Student season passes are still available for $25 - see Coach Lanier or Coach Bush if interested.
The Lady Tigers opened up the season with a big road win at Eagleville last night 47-34. The Lady Tigers had good balance as Madisen Stanley led all scorers with 21pts, Clara Johnson added 11pts, Landy Lapointe chipped in 6pts, Nora Clancy added 5pts and Lilly Stuible finished with 4pts. The lady tigers will be at home this Friday night vs Grundy Co.
