Students planning to get their drivers permit during Christmas break need to pick up the SF1010 form in the attendance office
DECA will be hosting a Middle School Winter Dance on Friday, December 12, in the CMS cafeteria from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $10 and tickets will be sold at the door. Concessions will be sold as well. Come dressed in your favorite Christmas attire.
Auditions are quickly approaching for this year’s One Act Festival! These shows have been written by the students of Theatre 4 and cover a wide range of genres. There are six different shows you can audition for, and many different roles that you have the opportunity of being cast as! The students of Theatre 4 have been hard at work writing these shows and are looking for strong casts to help their visions come to life. Auditions will be held on the afternoon of December 15 with callbacks on December 17. Please check Ms. Scott’s website for full audition details and contact her with any questions you may have. High School will be playing volleyball on Spirit Day, January 16th! Permission slips are outside Ms. Dixon's door and on the Student Council website.
Any middle school student that is interested in learning cursive writing and lettering, please sign up in the attendance office with Dr. Guthrie. Classes will be on Tuesdays after school until 4:30 in room 240.  You Must be signed up and have parent permission form turned in by January 10th to attend. The first class will be January 13th. More information will be on the permission form.
Thursday, December 11th from 4-8pm at Panera Bread on Old Fort Parkway is CMS Baseball Spirit night. 30% of sales will benefit your Tiger baseball team. If you order online, use code "FUND4U" at checkout. 
The Central bowlers defeated Blackman yesterday by a score of 16.5 to 10.5. The Tigers were led by Jason Dyer's 213 and Micah Bennett's 179.
The Lady Tigers took their first loss of the season last night at Cannon Co. 47-55. Madisen Stanley led all scorers with 22pts, Clara Johnson finished with 12pts, Norah Clancy added 8pts, Anna Redmond finished with 3 pts and Landry Lapointe rounded out the scoring with 2pts. The Lasy Tigers will once again be on the road this Friday as they travel to Grundy Co.
The high school boys basketball team continues to improve but came up short last night to a very good, undefeated Cannon County basketball team. The final score was 75-65.  Kason Puffer led the team with 20 points and Carter Sage continued his scoring hot streak with 14 points. Sage has been in double figures in all but one game this season. Isaac Messick had 9 points, Nathan Deinard 7, Braylon Payne 6, Owen King 4, Brady Stone 3, and Kai Jones had 2 to round out the scoring for the Tigers. Up next is a rematch with Grundy County on Friday on the road.
