8th graders: Applications are open through January 31 for you to apply for 9th grade. Even current 8th graders must re-apply going into high school!
Join us for our Winter Choral Concert "Vuelie"! Hear stories connecting cultures, traditions, and heritage, along with holiday favorites performed by the CMS 6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade, Varsity, Show and Chamber Choirs. The concert is Thursday, Dec. 18th at 7:00pm and admission is free!
Students planning to get their drivers permit during Christmas break need to pick up the SF1010 form in the attendance office
Middle School will play volleyball on the winter spirit day. Pick up and return permission forms to the folders outside Mrs. Phillips’s room by Thursday. The first 6 boys, 6 girls, and 2 coaches (1 boy, 1 girl) per grade will play.

CMS Choir is selling CMS Tumblers to support their trip to Disney this spring! You can purchase tumblers featuring MLB and NCAA teams, as well as Central Magnet-themed coffee cups and water bottles. Scan the QR code around the school or order, or email Mr. Germany!
Last Saturday, some of our 9th and 10th grade orchestra students auditioned for Mid-State Orchestra at Lebanon High School.  Congratulations to these 9th and 10th grade students for being selected for Mid-State Orchestra this school year: Jason Lin, Danika Shiomitsu, Havilynn Burton, Lucas Ye and Jacob Johnson.  Jason Lin scored so well on his audition that he also qualified for All-State orchestra this year.  Congratulations students!
Any middle school student that is interested in learning cursive writing and lettering, please sign up in the attendance office with Dr. Guthrie. Classes will be on Tuesdays after school until 4:30 in room 240.  You Must be signed up and have parent permission form turned in by January 10th to attend. The first class will be January 13th. More information will be on the permission form.
The Lady Tigers lost a hard-fought battle last night to Cascade 47-51. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Madisen Stanley with 11pts, Landry Lapointe added 9pts, Lilly Stuible and Norah Clancy each finished with 8 pts, Clara Johnson chipped in 6pts, Catherine Zubkus added 3pts and Anna Redmond had 2pts. The Lady Tigers will be back on the road Thursday at Community.
