Congratulations to the middle school MATHCOUNTS team who finished second at the Nashville Chapter competition on Saturday! Elvin Chen was Chapter runner-up. He and Jayden Hwang will advance to the state competition held in March.
Send your friends a Soda Gram this Valentine's Day! National English Honor Society is selling Soda Grams again this year, and for just $1 each you can send a note and a soda to your friends to let them know you're thinking of them! Soda Grams will be sold before school in the gym and during most lunches between now and February 12th. Soda Grams will be delivered to 1st period classes on Friday, February 13th, so make sure you know your friends' 1st period teacher! All proceeds are donated to Books from Birth to support childhood literacy.
DECA will host a Middle School Valentine's Dance on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available for sale at the door for $10.
Concessions will be available as well.

For the fourth straight year, the CMS Mock Trial Team has claimed the District 7 Championship!
The team also earned the highest individual round score of the competition, posting an impressive 351 out of a possible 360 points. This is the highest individual round in school history. With this victory, CMS advances to the Tennessee Bar Association State Mock Trial Competition, taking place March 20–21 in Nashville.
The Girls Scouts are collecting aluminum can tabs to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. Please bring tabs to the Attendance office.
