Madisen Stanley led all scorers with 32 pts, Landry Lapointe, Norah Clancy and Linley Lapoine each had 8 pts each, Catherine Zubkus and Lilly Stuible finished with 2pts apiece. The Lady tigers will be back in action on Friday at Macon Co. Also, congratulations to Madisen Stanley for reaching 1000 pts so far in her career. We also would like to give a big shoutout to Senior Clara Johnson who’s season was unfortunately cut short by injury but has had a great career and is still a contributing factor on this team with her leadership!
The high school boys basketball team fought hard last night but came up short against the visiting DeKalb County Tigers in a 70-63 loss. The loss drops the team to 2-2 in the district with two matches remaining, both against Macon County. Carter Sage and Chuk Obi paced the home team with 12 points apiece. Braylon Payne scored 9 points while also leading the team in rebounding with 7 boards. Thanks to all the students and fans who came out to support our seniors, Nathan, Braylon, Brady, and Connor, on senior night.
