The Central Robotics teams competed in the Tennessee FIRST Tech Challenge State Championships this past weekend. Both teams made it to the playoff rounds in the tournament and finished in the top 10 teams in the state.

We would like to congratulate Houston Rettig for becoming Central Magnet's first TSSAA Wrestling State Champion. Houston soundly defeated each of his opponents on his way to claiming the 215 pound division at the TSSAA Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.
The Lady Tigers lost to Watertown in the semi-finals of the district tournament last Saturday. Madisen Stanley led the team in scoring with 13pts, Landry Lapointe had 5pts, Lilly Stuible added 3pts and Maddy Strickland and Norah Clancy finished with 2pts each. The Lady Tigers will play in the consolation game tonight at 6pm vs Macon Co.
