Mr. Freeman's Art 3 Workshop will be showcasing some of their work on the 2nd floor of the Todd Building at MTSU starting Saturday, March 14 through April 10. There will be a small reception this Saturday from 11am - 2pm which is open to everyone. Come check out the wonderful work they've been producing all year.
Middle School will play flag football on the spring spirit day. Pick up and return permission forms to the folders outside Mrs. Phillips’s room by next Friday. Each grade can have two teams consisting of 12 players & 1 coach.
Airplane fanatic? NASA fan? Mr. Leach would like to invite anyone who has attended Aerospace Club this year to visit the club website and learn more details about two upcoming events. The club is taking a field trip to an aviation career expo at MTSU in March. Then in April, we will visit the wind tunnels and test facilities at Arnold Air Force Base. PLEASE get the necessary paperwork to Mr. Leach no later than March 20 to attend. Again, full details for both trips can be found on the Aerospace Club website.

One Act Weekend has arrived! Come see six original one act plays, written and directed by Theatre 4 students. Admission is free this Saturday from 5-9pm and Sunday from 2-6pm, with a come-and-go schedule (posted on Ms. Scott's website). We have feel-good comedies, introspective dramas, and everything in between, so there's something for everyone. Come support our highest-level theatre students this weekend as we celebrate their incredible hard work and dedication this school year, and see your fellow students put on some really good shows.

The Tiger baseball team dropped a game to the Webb Feet on Thursday. Braylon Dowell, John Roth, Henry Long and Jon Mical Courtney all had hits for the Tigers. Jon Mical and Knox Goodman both pitched shut out innings for the Tigers. The Tigers will be back in action today against Independence at Siegel. They will play White Co. and MTCS on Saturday starting at 12:30.
The high school men's soccer team won 9-0 last night over Macon Co. Will Clark led the way with a man of the match performance highlighted by 4 goals. Zack Dial, JT Parkerson, Carson Phillips, Ike Thompson, and Jacob Gardner also had goals. Adrian Meho helped make the goal scorers look good with 3 assists. JT Parkerson, Ben Hogan, Ike Thompson, and Carson Phillips also had assists.
The HS Soccer boys return to action next Tuesday away at Spring Hill.
Middle school softball team had a good week on the diamond.
The Central team had a huge win Monday, defeating their opponent 16–0!
Faith King had a dominant day in the circle with 8 strikeouts and no walks, and she helped her own cause at the plate with a triple that drove in three runs.
The Tigers’ offense stayed hot with big hits from Lily Cook, Mary Denney, and Sydney Jenning, helping power the team to the big win.
On Thursday, Tigers Battle Hard Against Stewarts Creek
The Central Magnet Middle School bats were blistering on Thursday, putting up 11 runs against Stewarts Creek. The Tigers had strong performances at the plate from Zoey, Nora, Lily, Harper, Jessica, Mary, and Sherya, all helping drive the offense.
Despite the big day offensively, Central came up just short and couldn’t secure the win.

HS Track and Field had an amazing performance last night at Cookeville High School! Girls scored 4th overall team with 54 points. Boys were 3rd overall with 95 points. Chuk Obi scored first in hurdles and high jump with a mark of 6’7”!!!! Cadence Upham placed 3rd in discus. Parker Ward scored 1st in the 800, and Rachel Benefield 1st in the 3200m. Girls 4x8 got 1st, and boys 4x8 relays scored 2nd and 4th. In the mile race, Jason Dyer placed 2nd, Nate Dyer 3rd, Harrison Hamby 6th, and Sawyer Evans 7th for the boys, while Catherine Zubkus placed 4th, Rachel 6th and Maddy Strickland 8th. Harrison Hamby placed 2nd in the 3200 and Nate Dyer 4th. Both 4x2’s scored 3rd, 4x1’s were 5th, along with the boys 4x4. Nyla Perry and Olivia Pinson scored points in their open events as well. It was a great night full of wins!
