The Varsity Middle School Boys Soccer Team tied Rock Springs Varsity 2–2. Luke Jones and Thang Khai scored the goals for the Tigers. They play again today at home at 4:30 against Smyrna. Students get in free, so come out and support the team!
The Tigers won a hard-fought district contest versus Dekalb Co. on Monday night by the score of 15-9. The Tigers pounded out 13 hits and stole 10 bases. 5 Tigers had 2 hits, and they were Grayson LaRoy, Henry Long, John Roth, Joseph Rowell, and Benson Reavis. Elijah Bonner was the winning pitcher striking out 7. With the Tigers holding onto a four-run lead and Dekalb with the bases loaded and two outs- the Tigers summoned Tate Morris out of the bullpen. He blew three fastballs by the hitter to preserve the win and get the save. The Tigers will take on Dekalb today at 6:00 on field 5 at Starplex.
