It is homecoming week!

Wednesday's dress up day is favorite American Hero

Thursday's dress up day is American's favorite pastime, wear your favorite jersey!

Friday wear your homecoming shirt, black or neon to the pep rally

 

Students interested in going to a reading room Friday, MUST sign up before 3:00 Thursday.  High School sign up is on the auditorium door, Middle School sign up can be located on the double doors next to the History room and Coach Joyce's room.  To be in a reading room you must sign up for the reading room associated with the scheduled activity.  Once you are in the reading room, you are in there until the end of that activity.  Students should not be roaming the halls.

 

Students that are in the variety show, please check the website at noon today to make certain all information is correct.

 

Middle school science olympiad will meet in the upstairs computer lab from 3-4 pm this THURSDAY from 3-4 pm.  Please come ready to build, research, and test!  

 

If you are currently enrolled in a dual enrollment class this year, you MUST sign up for the dual enrollment grant immediately, if you haven't already, to avoid a fee. See Guidance for questions.

 

UNICEF will be selling hot chocolate all this week for one dollar. They will be in college corner in the morning and the cafeteria during lunch.

 

Don't forget if you signed up for the Rocket City Math League Contest this afternoon.  The contest will begin promptly at 3:15.  Please be in Mrs. Pigg's room earlier so that we start at 3:15.  The contest will be finished by 4:00.  You will be  competing against 150 other schools around the country.  If you did not signup and you would still like to participate please see Mrs. Pigg or Mr. Prince before lunch today.

 

To Mr. Mears' Advisory: Remember today is the day of your reward lunch for early volunteer hour completion.

 

Best Buddies is once again collecting dresses for the Best Buddies Prom Dress Shop to be held January 29th. Please bring any formal/semiformal dresses in any size to Miss Angel's room between now and then.

 

If you are on homecoming court, please see Mrs. Huffman before lunch ends today.

 

The high school swim team had a great meet last night in Nashville against USN and CPA. Congratulations to Julia Anderson and Adriana Calzavara who made Region cuts in their events! Also congratulations to Daniel Wendt and Morgan Ouellette for making State cuts in their events! The swim team will be back in action on Saturday morning in Lebanon for the Rutherford County swim meet.

 

There will be no middle school softball conditioning this afternoon
