Northfield Elementary is in need of High School volunteers for their Renaissance Festival February 24. To sign up to volunteer, see Mrs. Huffman by Tuesday, Feb. 21.
Seniors please remember to bring your $23 for the Diploma of Merit Stole. Money can be turned in to Mrs. Hines, Mr. Nichols, or Mrs. Huffman.

Congratulations to Leah Walters for placing first in her division in both the TN State JOAD Tournament and the USA Archery State Tournament held this past weekend. Leah will be participating with her CMS archery teammates this Saturday in the Mossy Oak Tournament at WBMS.
Congratulations to the Central Magnet Men's Basketball team as they captured 3rd place in the district basketball tournament. The Tigers lost to Macon County 62-60 on Friday night in the semi-finals but bounced back on Saturday morning to defeat Livingston Academy 58-53 to capture 3rd place. Patrick Blair led the way with 23 points and Nick Hamlett chipped in 12 and Wes Duffield 11 points. Patrick Blair and Will Carver were both named to the All-tournament team.
The Tigers had several awards for the regular season: Patrick Blair was named to the 1st Team All-District and Will Carver was named 3rd Team All-District. Nick Hamlett was Honorable Mention.
Both Nick Hamlett and Cole Yoders were both named to the All-Defensive team for District 8AA as well.
The Tigers will be back in action in the first round of region play when they take on Sequatchie High School Saturday at 7:00 in Dunlap Tennessee.
