MTSU is holding a camp this summer for high school students for Innovation in Media and Entertainment.  See the link on the Guidance Summer Opportunities page.

 

Students planning to get driver's permit over Spring Break must get the SF1010 form in Attendance before the break.

 

Prom tickets are on sale through the 17th, PLEASE do not wait till the last minute to get your tickets.  If you know you are going to purchase tickets please go ahead and do so.  If you are bringing a date who is not from Central make sure you have your paperwork completed BEFORE you go to purchase tickets.

 

All of middle school advisory will meet in the auditorium this week for a special presentation which will be given to one of our 8th graders.  Middle School Advisors and students should go straight to the auditorium after first period on Wednesday.

 

Teachers – Valic will be in the downstairs teacher’s lounge today.

 

The Tackle Tay Sachs Campaign is doing a fundraiser for NTSAD called the Box Project. In this, there will be boxes the English classrooms for each grade for all members of the grade to put money in and compete against each other. Whichever grade raises the most money will have a teacher representative get a pie in their face at the next pep rally. Middle school and high school will be seperate. This will start this Monday and end on the Thursday before the pep rally. The teachers per grade goes as follows

6th- Mrs. Culp

7th- Mr. Meadows

8th- Mrs. Taylor

9th- Mr. Barham

10th- Mr. Cato

11th- Mrs. Morris 

12th- Mr. Carter

Remember, you can put your money in another grade's box if you'd rather see that teacher get a pie in the face! 

 

 

Tickets for the Middle School St. Patrick's Day Dance will be sold during A&B lunch through Friday.  They are $5 each is you purchase in advance.  If you purchase at the door they are $7.  The whole cafeteria will be lit with green LED lights and Leanah Chestnut is our DJ.  Concessions will be sold.  See you there!

 

 

If you plan to attend prom, LISTEN UP!  Prom tickets are on sale through this Friday ONLY.  If you would like to go to prom you must follow this deadline, no extensions.  Tickets will be on sale during C&D lunch.

 

We would like to invite you to our Spring 2017 String Orchestra performance on Thursday, March 16 at 7:00pm in the CMS Auditorium. Admission is free! Bring a date, invite your friends and family, and come to support you CMS Orchestras.

 

The boys middle school soccer team played its first home game of the season and tied LaVergne 2 to 2.  Jorge Graniel and Wills McAdams each had a goal while Julian Mitchell had an assist.  Dylan Iske and Will Palmer each had 5 saves  

 

The Boys JV lost to LaVergne 1 to 0  Jordon McWhorter had 4 saves. 

 

The next game is Thursday at Smyrna.  

 

The High School Soccer team started the regular season this evening by defeating Goodpasture Christian School 4-0.  Luis Sancez scored twice,  Elijah Barrit Scored a header  off of a cross from JJ, and Jacob Apigian finished off the scoring.   Nathan Clark had the shutout in goal.  The team heads to Gatlinburg this Friday to compete in the Smoky Mtn. Cup.
