Students planning to get driver's permit over Spring Break must get the SF1010 form in Attendance before the break.

 

Prom tickets are on sale through the 17th, PLEASE do not wait till the last minute to get your tickets.  If you know you are going to purchase tickets please go ahead and do so.  If you are bringing a date who is not from Central make sure you have your paperwork completed BEFORE you go to purchase tickets.

 

Due to lack of ticket sales the St. Patrick's Day dance has been cancelled.  If you purchased a ticket for the St. Patrick's Day dance please see Mrs. Winton for your refund.

 

TODAY is the last day to purchase tickets for prom.  You will not be able to purchase them after D lunch today.  

 

Attention all students, Science National Honor Society invites you to join us today to hear our guest speaker. Dr. Eric Klumpe will explain innovative, cutting-edge discoveries in astronomy and cosmology. We are fortunate to have such an exciting speaker and hope students and faculty will join us from 3 to 4 today in the Senior cafeteria. All students are welcome.

 

Computer Club members, this is a reminder that we will NOT meet after school today, March 17.

 

 

The Middle School boys soccer team lost last night to Smyrna 7 to 1.  Miles Lee Scored the goal, while Dylan Iske had 8 saves.  The next game will be here, Monday  against Stewarts Creek.  Game time is 4:15.  

 

The High School soccer team will leave this morning to head to Gatlinburg to compete in the Smoky Mtn. Cup.  The boys will take on Christ Church out of South Carolina this evening.  On Saturday they will play Lexington HS and Sevier Co. HS.

 

Your Tiger baseball team won their season opener defeating Beech 7-1. Chris Johnson got the win on the mound striking out 9. CJ Campbell was 3/3, Joey Hughes was 2/4 with a home run and a double. Dylan Jenkins, Trey Campbell and Hayden Locum each had 2 hits. The Tigers are back in action tonight taking on Science Hill at Riverdale at 4:30. 

 

Congratulation to the Lady Tiger softball team for the season opening 14-0 district win against Cannon Co. Kali Penny got the shutout with 10 strikeouts. Megan Kirkland and Addie Baird went 3 for for 4, Ashley Dyer had a homerun and 3 RBIs. 

The Lady Tigers will be competing in the Gordonsville Tournament in Cookeville this weekend.
