Students planning to get driver's permit over Spring Break must get the SF1010 form in Attendance before the break.

 

Students if you buy you ticket for After Prom before Spring Break they are $10 and you get a t’shirt. Tickets will be $15 the week of prom.  You do not have to go to prom to go to After Prom!  Tickets on sale in the cafeteria.

 

Everyone is invited to Young Life's Tacky Prom tonight! It is at the Experience Church @ 7:27 pm. Wear your tackiest dress or shirt, grab a friend, and come eat some free pizza!!"

 

Seniors you will meet in the auditorium for advisory this week. 
Seniors your stole money ($23) can be turned in to Mrs. Huffman, Mrs. Hines, or Mr. Nichols. This is due by Thursday. 
If you are planning on attending the senior field trip, the form and $10 must be turned in to Mrs. huffman by Thursday also. 

All high school students-If you are creating a kick ball team for the tournament Friday, please turn your forms to Mrs. Huffman asap.

 

Seniors if you have a job shadow form that you have not turned in, please take it to Mrs. Huffman before 5th period. 

 

Middle school science olympiad meeting is rescheduled.  Please note we will meet this WEDNESDAY instead of THURSDAY after school from 3-4 in Ms. Lane's room for our last meeting before the state tournament 

 

The Middle School Boys soccer team plays this afternoon here against Stewarts Creek.  The Varsity game time is 4:15 with the JV game immediately after.  Please come out and support your Tigers. 

 

The Central Magnet men's soccer team traveled to the Smoky Mountains to compete in the Mt. Leconte division.  The team walked  away undefeated and were the only team at the tournament to maintain a clean sheet in every match.  

 

Central beat Christ Church Episcopal 3-0 on Friday night.  On Saturday they beat Sevier Co. HS 2-0 and Lexington HS 4-0.

 

Stephen Falter and JJ Jack scored 3 goals each.  Luis Sanchez scored twice and added three assists.  Cole Yoders scored once and Ethan Penny had the last assist.

 

The Lady Tigers improved to 5-2 this weekend with a second place finish in the Gordonsville Tournament. They put together victories over Notre Dame Academy, Macon Co, and two wins over Gordonsville.  Kali  Penny and Faith McCaghren collected two wins a piece. They were also lead by the heavy hitting of Addie Baird, Abby Frazier, and Ashley Dyer.

 

The Central Magnet Men' and Women's Tennis teams both won their opening matches on Friday as both teams defeated Cannon County.

The women swept all 3 doubles sets 8-0 and in individual matches Macy Speight, Molly Speight, Megan Scott, Emily Oppmann, and Julia Sonn all scored 8-0 wins. 

On the men's side the Tigers swept Cannon County and Abi Manda scored a big 8-1 win. 

  

The CMS Archery Teams competed in the Warrior Classic Tournament for the County Championship at Riverdale HS on Saturday.  The HS Team placed 1st for the 3rd straight year.  Individually, CMS was represented by Eric Niedzieski placing 1st in the MS Male division along with Connor Smathers placing 5th, Joseph Bonanno placing 4th and Chase Wyatt placing 1st in the HS male Division,  Hadley Pegg placing 5thAlyssa Longuevan placing 3rdKaylie Corban placing 2nd and Alison Blanton placing 1st in the HS Female Division.  The archery teams will shoot in the State Tournament on Friday of spring break.
