ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS

If you have ever wanted to see how Robotic surgeries are performed, We have a treat for you.

THIS Tuesday after school the Science National Honor Society has invited Dr. Chesney to bring a multi-million dollar Da Vinci Surgical Robot to Central Magnet School. Attend this amazing after-school presentation and you MAY be one of the few students that get to operate such complex machinery. If you are interested in Robotics, Engineering, Medicine, Science or anything else this will be a fantastic opportunity for you. 3:15 Tuesday After school in the Senior Cafeteria.

 

 

The Central Magnet high school soccer team came away with their 7th consecutive clean sheet on the season with a 5-0 win over Nolensville HS.  Nick Hamett Scored twice and had one assist.  Trey Turk, Stephen Falter, and Patrick Blair also got on the score sheet.  Collin Webber and Luis Sanchez had assists.  The Tigers are now 7-0 on the season.

 

The Middle School Boys soccer game lost a very hard fought game to Siegel Thursday 1 to 0.  Connor McWhorter had 8 saves.  The JV team won their third straight game 1 to 0.  Clay Thompson had the goal while Will Weingart had the assist.  Will Palmer had 7 saves. The last game of the regular season is Tuesday here against Whitworth Buchanan.  It is a Varsity game only and is also 8th grade recognition night. Please come out and support the Tigers.

 

The Central Magnet Men's and Women's tennis teams improved their district records to 5-0 this last Thursday when they swept DeKalb County. 

Players of note: Piper Taylor and Julia Son both defeated their opponents 8-1 and Anand Gowda won 8-2 and Abhi Manda won 8-1. 

Both teams will be in action today when they host Watertown at Old Fort Park at 4:00
