You will be taking the math TNReady exams Monday- Wednesday of this upcoming week. Please remember to bring your own calculator with good batteries!!
UNICEF will be having a movie night in the auditorium this Friday, April 28th at 4:30. They will be showing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It is free to attend, but bring money to buy Harry Potter-themed concessions. They hope to see you there.
College Fair will be Tuesday, May 2 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Please make plans to attend.
Just a reminder that there will be a brief Jr Beta meeting today in Mrs. Taylor's room, 3:00 - 3:00.
We will be determining our Project Shoe Box assignments.

All Students who are not testing will remain in their 1st period class during testing, the only exceptions are the ones that have made arrangements with Mr. Brooks and Mrs. Powell.
We will announce when testing is complete for the day and when to transition to the next class.

Any student who is not testing and who has a 1st period teacher testing will report to the cafeteria.
After testing, students will report to periods 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 in that order.
The Middle School boys JV soccer team won the first round of the JV tournament 2 to 1 against Christiana. Clay Thompson scored 2 goals, Carter Few had two assists. Will Palmer had four saves. The team moves on to round 2 tomorrow. Game time is 5:15 against LaVergne. The Championship game is at 6:15.
It's Senior Night for the Lady Tigers as they take on Macon Co in a double-header starting at 4:30 at McKnight Park.
Both Central Magnet Tennis teams picked big wins yesterday when they defeated Riverdale High School 9-0.
On the women's side: Mamie Sevier, Molly Speight, Megan Scott, and Sally Smith all defeated their opponents by a score of 8-0. For the men, Chase Owens won 8-3 and Chetan Gowda and Fant Smith both defeated their opponents 8-1.
The Tigers are back in action on Wednesday when they have their final district match at Goodpasture.
Congratulations to the middle school track team as they finished off the Rutherford County Middle School Track Meet last night.

Corey Greeson placing 3rd in the disc and 7th in the shot put
Will Harris placing 4th in the disc and 5th in the shot put
Kaylin Wiley placing 8th in the long jump, 3rd in the high jump, and 3rd in the shot put
Lilly Buchanan placing 4th in the discus
The middle school Track team now prepares for sectionals next week on May 3rd and 4th.
The high school men's soccer Team takes on Hume-Fogg this afternoon at 5:15 here at Central. JV will follow the varsity match. Central Students will get in for free. Come cheer on your Tigers in another battle of the magnets.
