UNICEF will be having a movie night in the auditorium this Friday, April 28th at 4:30. They will be showing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It is free to attend, but bring money to buy Harry Potter-themed concessions. They hope to see you there.

 

 

College Fair will be Tuesday, May 2 from 5:30-7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Please make plans to attend.

 

Just a reminder that there will be a brief Jr Beta meeting today in Mrs. Taylor's room, 3:00 - 3:00.

We will be determining our Project Shoe Box assignments.

If you are unable to attend the after-school meeting, please see Mrs. Taylor ON WEDNESDAY.

 

The Central Night at the Arts is next Thursday May 4th. This event is free. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Students who want to read a poem must sign-up beforehand in Annex 335 to read.

Morning Testing from about 8:00- 10:30 for TNReady

All students who are not testing will remain in their 1st period class during testing.

We will announce when testing is complete for the day and when to transition to the next class.

After testing, students will report to periods 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7 in that order.

 

New National English Honor Society members need to bring their dues to Mrs. Esberger or Ms. Morris today or tomorrow. You will not be inducted in the fall unless you pay your dues. 

 

All PE and Wellness classes will meet in the auditorium due to the STEM Expo being in the gym. 

 

The high school soccer team moved to 9 -1 on the season with a 3-2 win over the visiting Hume-Fogg Knights.  Cole Yoders scored twice. Each goal came off a corner served in by Jacob Apigian.  Ethan Penny came up with the game winner in the last 5 minutes.  Thanks for everyone that came out to cheer on Central in the battle of the magnets.

 

Please congratulate the Middle School Boys JV Soccer team who earned 2nd place in the JV Tournament by first defeating Christiana 1 to 0.  Kellen Feltz scored the goal and Dylan Iske had 3 saves.  In the final game the Tigers lost to Blackman 1 to 0.  Dylan Iske had 7 saves. The JV team ended the season with a 5 game winning streak to earn second place.  Next, the Middle School Varsity team will play at Blackman April 29th for the end of the season tournament.

 

The Lady Tigers lost 2 close ones against Macon Co last night. 

Game 1 score was 4-2. Sydney Smith was 3 for 4. Kali Penny went 2 for 3.

 

Game 2 score was 6-5. 

Abby Frazier was 2 for 3 with a double. 

Addie Baird went 3 for four with a double as well. The Lady Tigers will travel to Livingston Academy today for a double header.
