MTSU is hosting their annual Entrepreneurship Fair on November 15, 2017.  Students will be given a chance to showcase and present their business concept to industry leaders from the business community.  

 

Applications are available in Room 210. 

 

DECA membership applications are available in Room 210 for any high school student interested in joining DECA.

 

There will be a meeting for any high school student interested in going to Ireland, Scotland, London, and Paris this summer. The meeting will be at CMS in Mr. Cato's room at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22nd. Please see Mr. Cato or Coach Kirksey if you have any questions.

 

The Meeples Club will be meeting after school at 3:15 on August 30th in the upstairs Teacher's Lounge.

 

ATTENTION ALL 9th, 10th, and 11th graders!! Registration for PSAT will open in Attendance on Tuesday, Aug. 22 and end Friday, Sept. 15. The cost is $16 and checks can be made payable to CMS.  The PSAT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship for 11th graders and is great practice for 9th and 10th graders. You can find PSAT practice resources at collegeboard.org. The test will be administered on Oct. 11. Please see Guidance or Attendance for questions.

 

 

High School Students needing community service hours need to see Mrs. Harrison in room 348 to sign-up for the HP Campus Fall Festival on Friday September 15.  

 

 

Are you interested in joining the archery team? If so, the archery team is open to all middle school and high school students.  The archery meeting on Monday, August 21st will be moved to Monday, August 28th due to school being closed on the 21st.  Please contact Coach Bonanno if you have questions.  All returning archery parents and any parent of those interested in archery should attend this meeting.  Please contact Coach Bonanno if you have questions.

 

 

Anyone who played middle school golf last year or would like to play this year please see Coach Cato before the end of this week. You can find him in room 115 before or after school or in Mr. Meadows' room during 5th period. 

 

If anyone is interested in trying out for the MIDDLE SCHOOL girls or boys basketball teams please see Coach Jones or Coach Rowland by September 1st.

 

Central Boys Golf picked up a win in Smyrna yesterday, defeating Stewarts Creek 344-360. The Tigers were lead by Steven Chan's 78. 

 

The Junior Varsity Tigers also beat Stewart's Creek behind a very strong performance by Nathan Mullins. 

 

The girls team remains unbeaten this season behind consistent play by Katelyn McDaniel and Ellie Stephens.

 

Central looks to improve their record against Smyrna next Thursday.

 

The Middle School Girls soccer team will play here tonight against Rochvale.  The Varsity game is at 4:15 with the JV game immediately after.  Please come out and support the Lady Tigers as they will eclipse over the opposition.
