Attention National Honor Society members. Please check out the NHS website. Signup pages for chapter projects will go live during 1st period today. Stop by Coach Nichols' office, Mr. Windham's room, or see one of your officers if you have questions.

6th, 7th, and 8th graders that are interested in being a part of the Lego League at Central Magnet, please stop in Mrs. Huffman's office and sign up.  Her office is upstairs next door to Ms. Quinn's and across from Ms. Nicole Davis.

The library is proud to announce that Ms. Roland and Ms. Davis' classes will be receiving donuts for breakfast this morning!  These two homerooms had the most birthday book club participants!  Thanks for everyone who has joined the birthday book club this year.

There will be an interest meeting for any student who is interested in being in the Rock Band on September 5th in the band room at 3:30. The meeting will last 30 minutes, and any student who is interested in being in the rock band this year should attend to get information on the group and the auditions for this year. If you have a conflict, please see Mr. Click in the band room.

Three district matches down and three ties on the record. The Central Magnet Lady Tigers HS Soccer team now stands at 2-1-3 on the season and 0-0-3 after last night's 0-0 tie with Nolensville HS.

Congratulations to the high school cross country teams for a strong start to the season and debut into the large school TSSAA classification. Your JV runners competed in Macon County two weeks ago and varsity made their debut at the Voyles Classic this past weekend. Leading the Lady Tigers was Camille Smith with a time of 19:27. Fuji Anday paced the men with a time of 16:35. Both JV and varsity return to action on Saturday September 9th in Nashville at the AF Bridges Invitational. Go Tigers!

There will be no practice for the Middle School girls soccer team.
