Governor’s School for the Arts applications are due this Friday, Oct. 20 by 3:00. All other Governor’s School applications will be due no later than Nov. 15 by 3:00. Please remember to include packets fully completed with a resume to your counselor. 



Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors:

 

You will be reporting to the gym for advisory this week.  Be sure to sit on the high school side of the gym.  You will sit in your class area, the same as you do for a pep rally.  Once we all arrive, we will need all students to be ready to listen to instructions as we will have much to do in a short period of time.



 

The Middle School Art Club will be sponsoring a coat drive for Coated in Love.  The coat Drive will start today and end this Friday.  There will be boxes In the Art room, near the Cafeteria, and in the Library. 

 

Mythology Club will meet this Thursday, C rotation club time, in Mr. Barham's room #203. The first rotation schedule has changed, so be sure to look at the most recent one on the school website. But remember, Mythology Club will meet this Thursday in Mr. Barham's room during club time.

 

Anyone planning on attending the MEEPLES club after school today must have either already paid their dues, or must bring the $5 club fee with them.

 

The Interact Club is conducting a Halloween Costume Drive for the Domestic Violence Shelter here in Murfreesboro. Please donate your gently used or new children's Halloween costumes by next Friday, October 27th. Drop them off in room 219. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

 

 

 

High school boys and girls tennis tryouts will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 4PM to 6PM and Thursday, Oct. 20 from 6PM to 8PM at the Adams Tennis Complex.  All athletes must have a physical completed before tryouts.  If you plan on trying out you need to see Coach Taylor and pick up an information sheet."

 

There will be a High School Track and Field interest meeting for runners, throwers and parents on Tuesday October 24 beginning at 3:30 in Mr. Meadows' class. That room number is 241.

 

The boys bowling team went on the road to McMinville yesterday and lost a close match to Warren County. Brandon Poplin picked up his 2nd career point and Benett Neu bowled the high game of the match with a 247. Both the boys and girls return to play next Tuesday vs. LaVergne at Lanes Trains and Automobiles.
