The Lady Tigers wrapped up the season with a 9th place finish on Saturday. The guys were led once again by sophomore Fuji Anday, who finished 16th overall with a time of 16:42. Your Tigers concludes the 2017 campaign in 13th place.
Despite being bumped up to the TSSAA large schools division, “Little Central Magnet” performed well above pre-season predictions. 7 of 14 state runners earned personal records on Saturday, qualifying both squads as true contenders in the large schools classification. In addition, 7 runners will be honored this evening at the Midstate Cross Country Association banquet. In all, this will go down as one of the best years in our program history. So again, please be sure to congratulate our Tiger Striders for a phenomenal 2017 season.
