*High school students, please remember, if you have turned in your permission form you do not need to come to attendance to sign in or out this week due to midterms.
*The high school swim team competed in a meet this past weekend against teams in their division from Hume Fogg, MLK, and CPA. Central beat all 3 of these teams! Congratulations to the following students for swimming Region-qualifying times in their events: Nick Gobich, Anna Waldecker, Morgan Ouellette, Ricky Pletan, Zachary Allgood, Nick Gill, Marlee Bratsch, Ella Rosser, Vinny Cantrell, Erin Chippeaux, and Roman Pate. Congratulations also to Kailey Orr, Anna Weis, Nick Gill, and Daniel Wendt for swimming State-qualifying times in their events.
*Cannon County had a strong second-half and defeated the Lady Tigers, 50-26, Friday night. Abigail Sandman and Kathryn Hays each had 6 to lead the Lady Tigers. They will play in the Richland Classic over the break.
*We are taking our MTSU Dual Enrollment picture today at 11:10 am (after you are dismissed from your 3rd-period midterm). Please meet outside on the front steps for the picture.

*The men's basketball team improved to 6-4 on the season with a 55-45 victory over Cannon County on Friday night. The Tigers were led by Nick Hamlett with 19points, Will Carver shipped in 11 points and Michael Brown scored 10 points.
The Tigers will be back in action on Thursday as they take on Monterey High School at the Watertown Christmas Tournament.
