*Seniors: The JPJ minority scholarship is available on the Guidance Financial aid page. It is due March 16.
*High school girls interested in science, technology or engineering, there is a one-day conference at the Adventure Science Center Feb 17. See the Guidance High School page for a link to the application.
*Current sophomores and juniors, applications for next year's writing lab are due by next Friday, the 9th. Remember that these include both the teacher recommendation and student cover letter. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Esberger in room 337.
*Students going to the IML on Thursday need to meet in Mr. Horton's room (rm 131) after dismissal. Please bring everything you need because you will not be able to go to your locker after 12:00. Please see Mrs. Pigg if you have any questions.
*Mu Alpha Theta offers math tutoring after school on Wednesdays from 3-4. If you would like to come for tutoring please go to the Mu Alpha Theta website and click on the link to sign up.
*A fire can breakout with little or no warning. The more prepared you are, the safer you will be. Emergency supply kits can help you be prepared. Items to keep in your emergency kit include a flashlight, batteries, first aid kit, whistle, phone lists, paper, pencil, water, and non-perishable snacks.
*TN Girls State and Boys State information is available in Guidance for current Juniors who have at least a 3.75 GPA. Please pick up information in Guidance if you are interested in attending.
*Hey, students! Want to get YOUR trivia on and be a part of this year’s Super Trivia Bowl? You can be… as a volunteer!
We need about 25 more students to serve as Table Hosts for the event on Saturday, February 10th. You’re needed at the school from 4:30-9:30PM that day. You’ll get volunteer hours for helping!
You’ll also get FREE pizza! Come out and join in the fun!

*Then Men's Basketball team lost a tough game last night at Community by the score of 60-57.
The Tigers were led by Nick Hamlett's 20 points and Will Carver's 18 points.
The Tigers will face Community in the rematch tonight at 7:30 pm and tongight is Senior Night.
*The Lady Tigers lost 49-17 to Community. They play Community for senior night tonight.
