*Registration for the 2018 AP exams will begin February 2nd and end March 16, 2018. Late payments will not be accepted due to ordering deadlines. The cost of each exam is $94. Students must submit the registration form and enter their information on the computer in the attendance office when they pay.
*TN Girls State and Boys State information is available in Guidance for current Juniors who have at least a 3.75 GPA. Please pick up information in Guidance if you are interested in attending.
*The Ned McWherter scholarship application is available on the Guidance webpage and is due Feb. 15. Please see your Counselor with questions.

*HS Softball tryouts will be the Monday at 3:30 at McKnight Field.
*French club will be having it's Mardi Gras / Valentine party on Tuesday February 13 after school in room 206.

* Science National Honor Society is offering science tutoring sessions on Tuesdays in Mr. Cowart’s room and Thursdays in room 131 during C and D lunch. Please come by if you need any help in your science classes.
* All cake decorating members who plan to stay for tomorrow's Valentine cupcake decorating should check the club website or see Cindy Davis to know what supplies to bring tomorrow after school.
*Forrest broke open close game in the 3rd to beat the Lady Tigers 48-25 Friday night. The girls will play in the first round of the district tournament at Marshall County tonight at 7:00.
*The Men's Basketball team finished their regular season on Friday night at Forrest High School.
The JV team finished their season with a record of 16-8 by defeating Forrest Friday night.
The Varsity Men's basketball team concluded their regular season with a record of 16-12 overall and 6-4 in the district by defeating Forrest 46-45.
The Tigers were led by Will Carver with 15 points and Nick Hamlett with 11 points.
The Tigers will host the first round of the district tournament when they play Community at home on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. We need every student available to come support for the Tigers as they will host this important first round game.
* Summary of results from the Percy Priest Chess Tournament this past Saturday, February 10:
CMS Chess Team: FIRST PLACE in 7-12th grade division and
FIRST PLACE in 5-6th grade sections.
Individual Accomplishments:
7-12th grade- Eric Ramsay wins 1st place;
Chandler McCook, Joshua Stueckle, Joshua Guaz and Eli Barlar win top 20 medals; Holly Guenther and Miguel Beristain complete the team.
5-6th grade- Matthew Smith wins 10th place trophy; Timothy Raynor 11th place medal; Jackson Bolinger, Cooper Olsen and Talan Lynch also earn top 20 medals.

* Middle School softball practice is cancelled for today. We will have practice Tuesday! We also have team pictures Tuesday on the field at 4:30. Bring black softball pants, black socks, and a smile. Mrs. Stanley will bring the jerseys.
* Tryouts for the boy's high school soccer will take place today. All players should be at the high school soccer field dressed and ready to go by 3:15.
