*After Prom tickets are on sale today through March 23. Tickets will be sold during C and D lunch are $10 each. T-shirts will only be included with tickets purchased before spring break. Juniors and seniors do not have to attend the prom to attend After Prom.
After spring break, tickets are $15 each and no shirt is guaranteed. We hope you will make plans now to attend After Prom!

*Central's Literary Magazine, Little Magnolia, is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications are open to all rising juniors and seniors who are interested and they will be due Friday, April 6th.

*The Murfreesboro Rotary Club is offering a scholarship for graduating seniors in honor of Past District Governor "Slick" Frazer. The goal of the scholarship is to provide financial support to students for academic study while also promoting the goals of Rotary International.

*There is a mandatory TN Promise meeting today at 3:00 for seniors who are in the TN Promise program.
*High school and middle school students will be previewing the book fair today with their English and reading support teachers. Tomorrow, the book fair will open after testing and students may come and visit from any classroom two at a time. Mark your calendars for this Thursday afternoon. The book fair will be open until 6:30. Students will be performing, rock band will play and there will be a poetry open mic. We hope to see you there!

*Congratulations to our teams at the Warrior Classic County Championship. The MS placed 2nd with another school record of 3320 but lost to Stewarts Creek MS by 9 points. The HS captured their 4th straight County Championship with their high score for the year of 3374. Individually, the CMS archers that finished in the top 5 were Dominic Swader placing 5th and Nathan Blunkall placing 3rd in the MS Male division, Mikayla Harris placing 4th and Emily Morgan placing 1st in the MS Female division, Alison Blanton placing 2nd and Kayleigh Corban placing 1st in the HS Female division and Eric Niedzielski placing 5th, Jacob Harris placing 3rd and Connor Smathers placing 1st in the HS Male division. This is Emily’s second time as the individual MS Female County Champion and this is Connor’s third time as an individual Male County Champion, once as MS champion and twice as HS champion. Our next tournament will be the State Tournament on Thursday, March 29th at the Miller Coliseum on Thompson Lane here in Murfreesboro. We will begin shooting at 1 pm, so come out and support your Tiger Archery Teams
*The high school men's soccer team traveled to Gatlinburg this past weekend and played highly ranked teams from Virginia, Alabama, and the defending State Champions of Tennessee. The Tigers dropped two close matches, but defeated Greenville High School 3-2 to close out the tournament. Jakada Jack scored twice on assists by Ethan Penny and Asher Feltz. Russell Harper preserved the win with a penalty kick save late in the second half.
