*Attention Seniors attending today's field trip -- report to college corner at the conclusion of this morning's announcements.

 

*After Prom tickets will be sold on Thursday during C and D lunch.  Tickets are $15.  Thursday is the last day to purchase.  Don't miss out on the fun!

 

*There will be a Junior Night/Dual Enrollment meeting coming up on April 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. See your counselor with questions.

 

*Middle School boys- if you are interested in information concerning Scouting there will be a short presentation during Club time Thursday in the upstairs lounge. The presentation is focused on the outdoor and summer opportunities available through the program.

 

*The MEEPLES Club WILL NOT be meeting this afternoon, but will be meeting next week.

 

*Attention all juniors and seniors!!!!!!!!!!!!

Voting for Prom King and Queen will be today until 1:30.   There is a link on the CMS homepage.  Seniors--please make sure you vote prior to leaving for your field trip today!  Remember, voting will close at 1:30, and the king and queen will be announced this Saturday at Prom!

 

*All Youth In Government members interested in attending the Youth In Government Conference in May, see Mr. Ruess today to receive your form for attendance.  Also, there will be a meeting for all Youth In Government students after school Wednesday April 4th in room 226.  Remember, please see Mr. Ruess today.

 

*If you joined the birthday book club in the library this year and haven't chosen your book yet, please drop by the library sometime this week to select your book. Our last book order has arrived and we want you to get the chance to make your selection first!

 

*The middle school golf team lost to Siegel yesterday. However, Ryan Thweatt and Taylor Brigham won their match outright and Eli Austin, Josie Hakanson, and Emma Nolan combined to earn a point for Central in team play. They’ll be back in action Thursday.

 

*The Lady Tigers softball team beat Giles Co last night 7-6.  Ashley Dyer, Alyssa Ward, and Abby Griffin all went 2 for 4. Abby Frazier had a triple.

Faith McCaghren with the win. The Lady Tigers will travel to Community  for a big district game tomorrow.

 

*The Middle School boys soccer team defeated Rockvale 2 to 0.  Charles Shaumburger and Will Kassambaugh each scored a goal.  Brady Loughery and Charles Shaumburger each had an assist. Will Palmer had one save. 

The JV team also won 2 to 0. Logan Stojakovich and Jake Petty each scored a goal.  Brant Buchanan ha the assist. 

The next game is Thursday, April 5th at Christiana.  Game time is 4:15.

 

*Middle School softball beat Lavergne middle 12-2! Kaitlyn Polly had 2 doubles, Caitlin Dodson had a double and pitched an amazing game with 5 strike outs, and Baylee Baron hit a 3 run homer over the left field fence! The lady tigers take on Rockvale middle away on Thursday.
