*AP Preadministration for 10th grade is this morning following announcements, report to the cafeteria with only a pencil. The 9th graders will report to the cafeteria at 9:50 during second block. Any 10th grader who is testing during first block will make up Preadministration today at 1:15.

*Attention all 6th and 7th graders!!!!!!!!! If you are interested in becoming a Middle School Cheerleader, there will be a MANDATORY parent meeting on THURSDAY, MAY 10 @ 7:30 IN THE SENIOR CAFETERIA. You must have a parent or guardian attend this meeting in order to try out. Please see Mrs. Fluharty to pick up a packet prior to the meeting.

*The Central Magnet men's soccer team wrapped up regular season district play with a 1-0 win over Tullahoma. Jakada Jack scored the goal off a nice pass by Jorge Graniel. This means the boys automatically clinch a slot in the region tournament. The team finished district play with an incredible 25 goals, while not giving up a single goal.
*There will be a meeting today after school in room 226 for the Middle School Youth in Government members that will attend the Conference on May 8th. If you have any questions please see Mr. Ruess.
*The middle school golf team lost to Christiana on Monday afternoon. Josie Hakanson led the girls team with the low score of the day while Nathaniel Carter, Caden Greene, and Ryan Thweatt tied for the low score on the boys side.
*The Central Magnet HS boys AND girls both won a team district championship yesterday! The boys team easily defeated Siegel HS by a match score of 4-0. Nathan Zou, Alex Hand, Tom Smith, and Anand Gowda were all singles winners in straight sets.
The girls team squeaked out a nail-biter by beating Blackman HS by a score of 4-3. Macy and Molly Speight gutted out a doubles win in a tiebreaker by a score of 9-8 (7-4) to secure the district championship.
Both teams will advance to head-to-head region match next week.
