* Students, the downstairs hallway will be blocked off from Sgt. Culp’s office to Mrs. Morris’s room due to AP testing from May 7 to May 18. Make sure you have your lunch and everything you need for the day before 8:00.

 

*Attention all 6th and 7th graders!!!!!!!!!  If you are interested in becoming a Middle School Cheerleader, there will be a MANDATORY parent meeting on THURSDAY, MAY 10 @ 7:30 IN THE SENIOR CAFETERIA.  You must have a parent or guardian attend this meeting in order to try out.  Please see Mrs. Fluharty to pick up a packet prior to the meeting.

 

*National French Exam results are in and this year students won 28 awards-

9 Honorable Mentions, 9 bronze medals, 9 silver medals and 1 gold medal for Lizbeth Lozano.

 

*Attention Juniors:

Voting for 2018-2019 Senior Class Vice President is now open.  Go to the school main page or Coach Nichols' website to log in to vote.  Polls will close at 1:30 so make sure you vote if you want your voice heard.

Attention All Candidates to Last Week's StuCo Elections:  Stop by Coach Nichols' office today if you want to retrieve your campaign poster.  Otherwise, they will be recycled after school this afternoon.

 

*The middle school golf team ended the regular season with a victory over MTCS. Ryan Thweatt, Eli Austin, Caden Greene, Sam Tipps, and Jacob Shanks won their matches. While Taylor Brigham, Josie Hakanson, Nathaniel Carter, and Tasman Takayama put points on the board for the team. They will play at Cedar Crest on Thursday for the county tournament.

 

*Your Central Magnet mens soccer team defeated Nolensville 2-0 last night.  Asher Feltz and Elijah Barritt scored.  The defense posted its 13th shutout.  Ethan Penny and Collin Webber had assists.

Central will play Page HS for the district championship at Richard Siegel park on Thursday at 7pm.
