*Lego League Club is having an interest meeting next Monday August 20th right after school in the library. If you are a middle schooler interested in coding robots and building Legos, you do not want to miss it. Join us to learn more about this year's mission, prepare for blast off, and go INTO ORBIT! Contact Mrs. Kime or Mrs. Denton if you cannot attend, but would like more information.

*For those interested in joining Senior BETA club this year, application packets are now available on the Senior BETA web page.  Submit all application materials in a manila envelope to Ms. Frazer in room 104 by Friday, August 24, 2018. No late submissions will be accepted. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Frazer or Mr. Boynton.

*There will be an Interest Meeting for CMS Archery on Tuesday, August 21st at 6 pm in the cafeteria.  If you are new to CMS Archery and did not attend the spring meeting, please plan to attend the meeting on Tuesday.

*Attention all freshmen.  If you are interested in running for a class office position, there will be mandatory interest meetings on Friday of this week.  You must attend one of these meetings: 7:30am in Ms. Hines room, your 5th period study time in Mr. Nichols' office, or 3:15pm in Ms. Hines' room.  If you will be absent on Friday, please email Ms. Hines and Mr. Nichols.   

*Applications are available for the 4th Annual MTSU Entrepreneurship Fair which will be held on November 14, 2018.

Students will get a chance to showcase their business concept and present to industry judges.  Stop by Room 210 for the application.

*2018-2019 DECA applications are available in Room 210.

*If you are an 8th or 12th grade mentor, please stop by to see Coach Nichols at some point today to pick up important information about your job. Get excited!

*The Middle School Girls Varsity Soccer Team started out the regular season with a victory over Rockvale 2 to 1.  Sydney Cuneo and Riley Gusman each had a goal while Maria Kime and Lila Mae Skidmore had an assist.  Mikayla Harris had 6 saves. 

The JV team tied 1 to 1.  Mikayla Harris had the goal while Kristin Barrett had 3 saves.

The next game is today, here against Christiana.  Game time is 4:30.

The high school girls soccer team will play Oakland tonight at 6 pm here at Central.  Students get in free!
