*Lego League Club is having an interest meeting next Monday August 20th right after school in the library. If you are a middle schooler interested in coding robots and building Legos, you do not want to miss it. Join us to learn more about this year's mission, prepare for blast off, and go INTO ORBIT! Contact Mrs. Kime or Mrs. Denton if you cannot attend, but would like more information.

*The Table Top Gaming Club will be meeting on Wednesday, August 22nd from 3:15 to 4:30 in the upstairs Teachers’ Lounge. Prospective and returning members are welcome to attend.

Please refrain from taking out any games until after we finish the beginning of the year business.

*There will be an Interest Meeting for CMS Archery on Tuesday, August 21st at 6 pm in the cafeteria.  If you are new to CMS Archery and did not attend the spring meeting, please plan to attend the meeting on Tuesday.

*Attention all freshmen.  If you are interested in running for a class office position, there will be mandatory interest meetings on Friday of this week.  You must attend one of these meetings: 7:30am in Ms. Hines room, your 5th period study time in Mr. Nichols' office, or 3:15pm in Ms. Hines' room.  If you will be absent on Friday, please email Ms. Hines and Mr. Nichols.   

*Applications are available for the 4th Annual MTSU Entrepreneurship Fair which will be held on November 14, 2018.

Students will get a chance to showcase their business concept and present to industry judges.  Stop by Room 210 for the application.

*2018-2019 DECA applications are available in Room 210.

*HOSA will have our 1st blood drive Thursday, August 30th from 7:30 to 1:00 in the gym.  We are currently experiencing blood shortages so we are asking that you considering giving at our drive.  Your one donation can save 3 lives.  If you have any questions, let me know!

As always, thanks for your support.  With last years number of donations, we were able to give a total of $2500 in scholarship money from the American Red Cross!

 *The Lady Tigers High School soccer team played a great match but came up just short, falling 3-1 to Oakland HS.  Megan Delaney had the goal off a cross from Ashleigh Clark.   Avery Pogue had a great match with 8 saves in goal.

*The Middle School Girls Soccer team defeated Christiana 7 to 1. Lila Mae Skidmore and Maria Kime scored two goals, while Emily Laseter, Sydney Cuneo, and Addison Savely each scored one.  Assists made by Lila Mae Skidmore, Sydney Cuneo Maria Kime Lara Smithson and Emily Laseter.  Mikayla Harris had 4 saves.

The Lady Tigers' next game is here Monday, August 20th, against Oakland.  Game time is 4:30.

*If you were unable to make the swim team interest meeting yesterday afternoon come see Coach Heller in her room today to get the information you missed!

*"Bowling tryouts will be Tuesday August 21st at Lanes Trains and Automobiles. Tryouts will be from 3:45-5:15, you must have all paperwork completed to tryout. See Coach Joyce if you have any questions or are unable to attend."

*There will be no Middle School girls’ soccer practice today.
