It is time to start registration for the PSAT. Registration will begin Monday, August 27 and will continue until September 7 in the attendance office. The cost is $16 and is open to all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. You may pay with cash or check made to CMS. We will also take card payments but a processing fee will be added. If you have questions about the PSAT and the importance of this test, please see your guidance counselor or Mr. Nichols. Don't forget to pick up your practice booklet when you register!

*Middle School Youth in Government will meet today during club time in room 226. This is open to all Middle school students interested in participating and experiencing how the legislative branch of government works. If you have any questions see Mr. Ruess.
*Attention NEW Senior BETA members! Tonight, is the induction ceremony for Senior Beta club. Plan to arrive no later than 5:15. If you are unable to attend tonight's ceremony, you need to see Ms. Frazer or Mr. Boynton as soon as possible. Also, don't forget to pay your $25 National and local dues.
* If you are interested in volunteering and earning service hours, The Alzheimers Walk to End Alzheimers is November 10th. It will take place at the Dean Hayes Soccer and Track Stadium on the MTSU campus and will begin at 8:00am. You may log up to 8 hours of service since the set up will begin at 6:00am. *Attention all CMS high school students! If you would like to order a letterman jacket, come to the senior cafeteria next Thursday 9/13 which is a half day, at 11:00. For ordering information see your coach, Mr. Mears, Mr. Click, Mr. Brenner or Coach Kirksey. All those placing orders on 9/13 will receive their jackets BEFORE Christmas.
*The Chi Alpha Mu meeting has been cancelled for today but tune in next week for a meeting after school! So, if you are a middle schooler, enjoy math and interested in being a part of the middle school math club then listen for when the meeting will be next week!
