* The library will be closed this Friday for book fair setup. Next week during book fair checkout will not be available. Please plan accordingly and if you have books that are due next week or need to check out new books, please take care of renewing/checking out by this Thursday. This announcement is applicable to both middle and high school students.
*Students who park and ride the bus from Rock Springs Middle School; this Friday, September 21st, please park in the front of the school due to the school having their Fall Festival in the back parking lot.

* Today, College Corner will host the University of Southern California and the Tennessee Tech Education Department. Please stop by!
* Washington University (in St. Louis) will visit College Corner this week on FRIDAY from 12:30-1:30. (Note different day than usual). Stop by to learn more.
* Barfield Elementary School will be holding its annual book fair on Friday, October 12th from 4-8:00pm. If interested, contact Rae Ellyn Kelley by sending an email to [email protected]. Please title interest emails "Book Fair Volunteers."
*On Friday September 21st HP Campus School is having their annual Fall Festival and they need student volunteers for the games and activities during the festival. Sign-up in Mrs. Harrison's room (348) if you would like to be contacted about volunteering.
* ALL Nat'l Span Honor Society Volunteers that have signed up for ANYTHING in the next two months: Ms. Pinson needs to see you TODAY to get a form signed to volunteer with the City Schools. You cannot volunteer without it!
*For those interested in running for Senior Beta Vice President, a typed speech, slogan, campaign skit idea, and t-shirt idea need to be submitted to either Mr. Boynton or Ms. Frazer by next Wednesday, September 19th. Interested candidates should also plan to deliver their speech in front of a panel of judges this Friday, September 21st immediately after school. If you have questions or need further clarification about the requirements, please meet with Mr. Boynton or Ms. Frazer.
* The high school girls’ soccer team will travel to Spring Hill to play the Lady Raiders this evening at 6pm.
* The Middle School Varsity soccer team defeated Oakland 3 to 1. Riley Gusman scored her 4th hat trick in as many games. Maria Kime and Sarah Claire Lush each had an assist. Mikayla Harris had 2 saves.
The next game is tonight at Blackman. Varsity game time is 4:30 with the JV immediately after.
* The middle school volleyball team defeated Smyrna middle in 2 last night!
* Rachel Chan shot an 80 yesterday at the Region 4 Tournament to place 3rd overall and advance to the TSSAA State Championship next week in Manchester! Along with Ellie Stephens 5th best score of 85, the girls came in 3rd as a team.
The boys golf team finished with a very good team score and came in 5th place in the region. Seniors Austin Wright, Cole Marjama, and Matthew McDaniel all had a great finish to their high school careers.
